My background is more diverse than others in the profession. I’ve owned and operated a tax and financial planning practice, retail stores, entertainment businesses, a manufacturing company, and most recently, post-production facilities. I’ve also taught classes at Saddleback Community College and conducted seminars throughout the West for consumers and financial professionals. This broad experience allows me to relate to your unique circumstances and confidently conceptualize and utilize a variety of successful financial tools.

A native New Yorker, I’ve lived most of my life in Los Angeles and Orange County. I am available for appointments in both our Los Angeles and Mission Viejo office.

I am a certified open water diver, certified sailor, AYSO National Coach, former marathon runner and future private pilot. My perspective of life and business is panoramic. (That means at 50 years old I still consider myself a learner and welcome the opportunity to challenge myself.)

Professionally I’ve held licenses in California to sell insurance, securities, and real estate. I’ve worked in venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, personal financial planning, accounting, and tax preparation, all while self-employed right here in Orange County. That has made my 28 years in the industry truly 28 years of experience (rather than 1 year of experience 28 times).

Born in Michigan, I live in Mission Viejo with my wife Trish. We continue to raise our (collective) 26, 22, and 12 year olds. I have been active in local youth sports as a referee, coach, and board member and continue to serve on Boards of several for profit and non-profit volunteer organizations.

My professional background includes Bookkeeping, Human Resources, Office Management, and Accounting plus a brief stint in the Advertising industry.  I have worked for small businesses and large corporations in their accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll departments.

Currently I am a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor specializing in accounting for professional service businesses. I enjoy working towards a mutually satisfying relationship with our business and individual clients in “Helping you keep more of the money you make and make more from the money you keep”  that’s why I include on-site trouble shooting of QuickBooks accounting issues.

My husband and I have lived in Orange County long enough to remember groves of orange trees and herds of cattle grazing by the side of the freeway.  My husband is a second generation Californian, making our sons 3rd generation Californians.

Prior to joining the YMM team, my professional background was in Operations and Regulatory Compliance. During this period I worked closely with State and Federal agencies and State attorneys to assure conformance to State and Federal regulations.

I have a diverse background in the financial sector with specialized training in the areas of business law, probate and estate law, business management and real estate lending. I am currently working on my paralegal and Enrolled Agent (EA) certifications. My desire for continuing education not only benefits me but my clients as well.

As a native Californian, I have spent most of my adult life in beautiful Orange County. Currently I live in Huntington Beach with my husband, Rocky . I am an exercise enthusiast and enjoy step aerobics and power walking. I have also dabbled in the fine art of kick boxing.

My professional background, developed working with national companies as well as local firms, has given me a strong proficiency in revenue building, corporate training, management, and bringing people together to work toward one common goal.

My passion for sports always re-instills in me the importance of a team and how important relationships are to getting things done, in the real world. By empowering everyone to perform at an optimum level, I believe that any organization can achieve its’ goals. And, in the process, help the people touched by that organization accomplish things even they never dreamed were possible.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and staying physically active. I currently live in Foothill Ranch, CA.
